ABOUT US

Gerald C. Eberly is a state certified General Appraiser and has been active in real estate for 25+ years. He founded Eberly Appraisal Services in 2007. Zachary G. Eberly joined the business in 2014 and is a licensed appraiser trainee. Both of use were born and raised in Lancaster County, and have held numerous positions in the local agricultural and real estate industries.  Eberly Appraisal Services is approved by most lenders in the area, and also perform assignments for private individuals, attorneys, businesses, private organizations, and municipalities.

So what is an appraisal? According to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), an appraisal is "the act or process of developing an opinion of value." The most common type of appraisal assignment is the development of an opinion of a property's present market value.
